Bond Digital Health is celebrating after winning its second major award in a month.
The company picked up the Outstanding Covid Achievement Award at the 15th annual MediWales Innovation Awards last week.
The awards celebrated outstanding achievements in the life sciences and health technology sectors.
This year, the awards ceremony took place online, with guests tuning in from all over the UK, representing industry, academia, government and more. Bond was one of many companies to receive recognition for standout innovations in response to Covid-19.
Bond won the Outstanding Covid Achievement Award for innovative use of its Transform® technology – a digital platform that collects, stores and shares data from lateral flow diagnostic tests – the type of rapid tests that are widely used in the Covid-19 outbreak.
A version of Transform® is currently in-market, powering a Canadian client’s Covid-19 rapid antigen test.
Viktoriya Agova, Bond’s Marketing Manager, said:
2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. But what is great work without a bit of challenge, right?
Everyone sees the tip of the iceberg, but what is really commendable is the way our team came together and worked evenings and weekends to deliver this platform that is going to help millions. This takes courage, determination and a special kind of organisational culture.
We’re defining new growth frontiers for the rapid testing industry and helping them break through a ‘glass ceiling’ by digitising their offers – for Covid-19 projects and beyond.
We would like to thank MediWales and all the award sponsors for this recognition and the continued support.
